Shelly B Smith

With over 20 years of records management experience, Shelly has overseen the implementation and operations of several diverse information management programs and systems. Currently as the Information Management and FIPPA coordinator for the City of Winnipeg’s Public Works Department, along with records management, Shelly is also responsible for ensuring compliance with privacy-related legislations and policies.
Shelly had been a longstanding ARMA Winnipeg Chapter board member since 2011. She has spent 2 years serving on the ARMA Canada Region board as Program Administrator and an additional 4 years as Program Director. Currently, Shelly volunteers for ARMA International’s Chapter Advisory Committee, Awards Committee and is the co-chair for ARMA Canada’s Information Conference Education Committee.
